Hey! I am Kajol. I am fond of a lot of things – writing, dancing, poetry, singing and aerial. I believe in kindness and magic, in humanity and honesty. I am crazy for kids and dogs. I am a law student and I love debating. I am a Disney Movies fanatic, and secretly believe I'm Maleficent.

But before I became the other things, I was a poet. I wrote my first poem right after my first heartbreak, 7 years ago. And 7 years later, here I am writing again - after something just as life changing. It has been quite a journey from then till now, with your classic ups and downs. Writing has always been my solace, my peace. It has not been an escape from reality as much as it has been strength to face reality.

Different things fuel different people. For me, writing has been one of those since forever. I enjoy writing about things that interest me, interest other people, my passions and experiences. Emotional Crawl is similar to a pub crawl, minus the booze and music (or not). Emotional Crawl is my safe space, away from living up to the standards of what people perceive of you.

The things I'll be posting here will probably not be the best things you've read, but I assure you - they'll always warm up that beautiful heart of yours. These are some of my personal favorites, the most treasured pieces of my heart. I hope you like them as much as I do. Happy reading, folks!

About Us: About

I know I wrote “our” journey and it is not a mistake. I believe you must bring your whole self to the table if you want to thrive in today’s crazy world; your personality, your sense of humor, and most importantly, your heart. All of these elements brought me to found Emotional Crawl, along with something else - because the words I have written this past years may be mine to call, but the reasons and motivations aren’t all me.

There are a few people I would like to especially thank, to never stop believing in me. I owe a lot to you guys, especially me not giving up writing. So thank you for that. This is a little token of my gratitude.
