Changes in life, big or small, they hold the power to fundamentally turn your life around. There's nothing certain about change - when it will happen, how it will happen, whether it'll be a change in the direction you desire or not. The only thing certain however, is change itself. But despite how difficult changes can be, I for one think they're beautiful. I think they let us explore who we really are, who we have the potential to become. They open our eyes to the kind of possibilities we didn't even in our wildest dreams, deem plausible. In my mind, I think of change as a secret getaway which introduces us to who we could actually be in an alternate universe, giving us a real chance at becoming that person. Change is the most quizzically inspiring thing ever. It holds the power to shatter down all your notions of reality and how things would be, only to push you to grow through it. It is like that extra strict teacher we all had in school - their classes would be a task and she'd make you sweat from behind your knees - but she'd be a core factor in your growth. Much like a two forked road - you can choose to go through it and grow through it, or you can just not. That will probably not help you, but still is an option nevertheless. Because you see, change doesn't care about you. And the sooner you realise that, the sooner you'll learn to be happy in life. It is the undeniable truth of life and the only thing permanent, as paradoxical as it sounds. And as much of an option as change is, I sure hope that you change before you absolutely have to. Because; changes are great, but choosing to change is even better.
